Paul Kenny

Associate Professor Kenny is a comparative political economist. His research on populism, corruption, and institutions has been published in journals including The Journal of Politics and the British Journal of Political Science. He has written two books, Populism and Patronage: Why Populists Win Elections in India, Asia, and Beyond (Oxford University Press, 2017) and Populism in Southeast Asia (Cambridge University Press, forthcoming). He teaches courses in comparative politics at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
