Tom McDermott is a serving ADF officer. He has over twenty years military service. Since 2015 he has been researching British strategic decision-making in the Iraq intervention, based on the evidence held in the Iraq Inquiry.
Research Interest
Principal research interests are in the areas of strategic studies, strategic decision-making, war studies, military history, international relations, civ/mil relations and the future of war and warfare.
