His research combines Feminist Institutionalist and Queer theories in exciting new theoretical dimensions.

Research Interest

Jack's primary area of research interest is in the intersection of LGBTI+ personhood and the public sector, whether that be in international diplomacy, political office, or the Australian public service. In these highly regulated spaces, often funded entirely by public taxes, how are the rights of LGBTI+ people formalised and upheld? In addition to his research interest, Jack's expertise includes LGBTI+ representation in Australian politics and international diplomacy, democratic and electoral health, and good governance in public service.
