Prabowo Subianto has won the 2024 presidential elections in Indonesia, with massive support by incumbent president Joko Widodo. Parliamentary elections were also held. The Department of Political and Social Change's Sana Jaffrey, Eve Warburton and Marcus Mietzner were on the ground during the campaign and on voting day. In this seminar, they discuss the reasons for Prabowo's decisive victory, and what the election results mean for the country's fragile democracy.The seminar will be moderated by Professor Ed Aspinall
